CLIFFORD'S GRAND EXHIBITION.
This excellent exhibition succeeded in attract- ;..,, o <a,u o„/.i_.T.o-> inst, pvenin<* in the Albert
Hall. A portion oC the entertainment portrayed the wild animals of the Zoological Garden, Regent Park, such as the lions, tigers, wolves, elephants, buffaloes, etc., of that moat remarkable of ail natural exhibitions. The views were clear, well-defined, and apparently of life-si;:e. The feeding of the lions is quite a feature in these gardens, and among the most eagerly sought of scenes by Londoners and country visitors to the metropolis. A number of photographic views of the cities and towns of New Zealand were also shewn, and not tbe least interesting were those of Auckland, recently taken by Mr Steal, of Pulman's photographic rooms. The views of Queen-3treet, the banks, the Supreme Court, and other public buildings, -were received with applause. Great amusement was caused on the production of St. Paul's church, by tho lecturer announcing it to be Pitt-street Wesleyan church. The continental scenery, including scenes in Russia and Turkey, were specially interesting at the present time, and were thoroughly appreciated. The same programme with some additions will be given to-night, which we learn, will be tho last of these exquisite hi«h-clasa exhibitions.
