Our Aratapn correspondent writes : — Last night about S o'clock Mr F. Marriner arrested James Fisher at the Mongonni Bluff on his road to Hokianga, and lodged in the Tc Kopura lock-upj this morning. Fisher is charged with stealing a lever watch, chain, meerschaum pipe, and some £12, from George Vanse, of Aratapn, also with breaking into the Te Kopura store, and for stealing from a gum digger. He will be brought before the Bench of Magistrates on Monday next.
