Mr R. Arthur's weekly sale of provisions' poultry, and furniture was largely attended yesterday. Canterbury potatoes, £3 15s to £1 per ton ; Auckland potatoes, 3s to 4s per cwt: carrots, 2. 3d to 3s per cwt; pumpkins, 2s 5d per cwt- onions, 2d to 2Vd per lb ; maize, 3s lOd to 3s lid per bushel, oats, 3s 9d per bushel: bar-ley. 43 per bushel; bran, us 3d to 5s 9d per bag!; flour, £13 to £16 per ton ; cheese, od to 6d per l'> ■ Ca*iterbiirv bacon and hams (bare), Sd': frZsh huUsr. 0 1 to lOd per lb ; salt butter, Cd to 9d per lb ; fowls, L. lOd to 2s iOd ; turkeys, 2s to Messrs M. .Tones and Co.'s sale, at their Central Mart, was also well attended.
