At Remuera on Thursday dairy cattle weie indifferently represented, and dull of sale. Store cattle plentiful, and in steady demand at late values. Pat cattle in full'supply, and of variable quality. Prices ranged from 24s to 35s the lOOIbs.; those at the lower prices were purchased by the graziers, but all of good quality sold readily at from 26s to 28s the IOOIbs. 104 head purchased by the butchers. No store sheep offered. Fat sheep in moderate numbers. 50 sold; late prices sustained. Pigs scarce and at high values. Averages given were "9 steers, W. A. Mactier £13; 9 cows, W. A. Mactier, £9165; 27 head. W. Forrest, £7 16s; 13 head, W. Mandeno, £6 15s Cd; 25 hnsd, W. Bhort, £6 18 6d; 15 head cattle, Mr O'Brien, £8 7s ; 270 half-bred Napier wethers, Mr King, 14s ; 100 half-bred wethers, "W. Hicks, 15s a piece ; 71 head, W J H Gibson, L 7 ss.
