Geo. W. Binney nports his sale of Hobart Town fruit, jams. &c, was well attended, and pricss realized very fair considering the quantity placed upon the market during the week. He quotes pplea 4d 3£d and 3d, according; to quality ; pears, 4d ; Peak's jam, lib in tins, 7s 9d in trade lines, the whole $>eing quitted at thai; pries save one case *fc Sa 3d; Hawking jams, lib tins, 8s 21; Peak's, in jars, 7d per Ib. ; 20 cases Canterbury cheese, 9|d per lb.; 3 cases Watt's hams and bacon, 9|rJ, Messr3 Orant and Morton fold to-day, by order of the Improvement Commissioners, t^o wooden buildings in the Albert Barracks, which realised respestively £17 5a and £16 10a. Mr E. Arthur sold, to-day, the shop and premises in the occupation of Mr Brinsden, Wellesley- street, for £45. Messrs Tonks ft Co. had but a moderate attendance at their mart.
