Bice will accompany, and Mr Brow a will conduct the musical proceedings. The moat sublime pas : -es of Handell's "Messiah," will form the firat part, including " In the Beginning,1' and " God saw the Light.'7 with the fine air " With Verdure Clad,1' by Mrs Mltche"., and the grand soulsubduJng chorus, " The Heavens are Telling/ ets. The brothers Hp-kerand other members of the Choral Society will tako part in the due rendeilng of those selection The second pail comprises the overture " Zanetta," Ludlow'a chaste composition, " O Bid your frUhfol Ai."el fly," by Miss .Kdger, of the Royal Academy of Music. A duet by Mrs Mitchell and Miss Maunsell : a humourous ballad by Mr Tole; a piano solo by Mra Woolley, the accomplished piapist ; the " Death of Nelson" by Mr Kkinner, who wi'l be favorably remembered in connection with tno Goddard and Christian concerts, aud who is no mean foJ'ower of the celebrated John Braham, who sang this song as no other man of his time could sing it. The musicrl and well-arranged trio, " Th-j magic Wove Sea I," will be sung by Mrs Mitchell, and Messrs Tole and G. Harker. Miss Vau^han, the sweet vocalist of Parne.'l, will resist with "Out of the Depths," and a gentleman amateur will sing " Nil Desperandum," rid the lady for who3e benefit the concert has been organisd will sing the "Nightingale's Trill.'' Thoband also will play at the conclusion, the famous war-march from "Athalie." Hence it will be seen that the concert at the Choral Hall this evening will be worthy the occ?~ion, and form a g.aceful tribute to one whose pleasant muiic is as " famiHar as household words" to the musicloving citizens of Auckland.
