Messrs Touks and Co. sold to-day a number of packages of check matting at fair average prices.
Mr R. Arthur held a large sale of fruits nnd jams from Hobart Town, in his new mart to-day, but the sale was not over in time for general quotations in thin evening's issue. Apples were selling from 2h& to 4Jd, and jams at 7s lOd.
