ATTEMPT TO STICK-UP A BANK.
SUSPECTED FENIAN AGENTS.
Sydney, June 6. A robber attempted to stick-up the branch of the Commercial Bank at Blaney. The manager fired three times at the robber, who fired one shot, and then decamped. Melbourne. June G. Two passengers per Sumatra are supposed to be Fenian agents from England, and are suspected of being concerned in the last escape of convicts from Western Australia in a whaling vessel.
It is considered probable that the second charge against the Messrs Stevenson will be abandoned.
Adelaide, June 6, The Ministry have resigned. The Sumatra is expected to-day.
