The want of proper Bteamer Accomodation between Auckland, Thames, and Coromandel has been severoly felt for so considerable a time that the Projectors of this Company now propose to form a Joint Stock Company (Limited), for the purpoie of having a Boat built expreskly for passenger and cargo traffic, not only to meet tho prossing demands of trade, but witti such increased speed as to limit tho passage to and from Auckland to four hours. A contract at once to be entered into with Messrs Fraser & Tinne. Auckland, for a First-class Iron Boat, rep'ete with every modern improvement and accomodation, to be ready by December next, and estimated to cost .£II,OOO. The nominal capital of the Company is estimated at £12,600, £1.500 being: allowed to u>eet contingencies.
