(Per Press Telegram Agency.) ' Monday. J. Gr. S. Grant's SlandersThe Hon. H. Scotland, a membar of the Upper House, has written a letter to Mr J. G-, Grant, complimenting him for his conduct in proclaiming the truth to a corrupted and demoralised colony, and telling him not to be afraid of any thing our contemptible cpntralist Government may say. He has also written to the Belfast fifeivs Letter to say that what Grant has written about New Zealand is, to his certain knowledge, correct.
