PROSPECTUS/ The want of proper F.tr.amer Accomodatlon between Auckland, Thames, and Cotomandel has been severely felt for so considerable a time that the Projectors of this Company now propose to form a Joint Htcck Company (Limited), for the purpose of havintr a Boat built expressly for passenger and cargo traffic, not only to meet the pressing demand* of trade, but with suoh in creatod speed as to limit tho paisage to and from Auckland to four hours. A contract at once to bo entered into with Mcssts Fraaer «ft Tinne, Auckland, for a First-class Iron Boat, rep'.ete with every modern improvement and accomodation, to be ready by December next, and estimated to cost £11.000. Tho nominal capital of tho Company Is estimated at £12,600, £1,500 being allowed to meet contingencies. The guarantee, as regards the new Boat, to be as follows :—fcpeed to he 12 knots per hour ; and far every knot less than 12 knotß per hour, her builders to forfeit at the rate of £1,000 per knot Should the speed of the Boat exceed 12 knots, the build«rs to recsive a bonus of £1,000 for every hnot over 12 knots por hour : such bonus to be taken up In shares In the new Company.
