How the wind blow 3, it comes against my casement, As in that fivat deep gloom it came to me ; And I in helplp", restless, wild amazement, Look back again on the old agony. How the wind blows! Evan its distant sighing Awakes Bad memories of hppe3 and fears. TThen one so dear beyond mine aid was iylng, And my wrapt gaze was blind with unshed tears. How the wind biows ! Bat always melancholy ; Whyisit ever linked with vain ragret ? Ever it points to g.lef, or mocks at folly, And lacerates the sp'.rt'a stormy fret. How the wind bbsvs ! When I am slowly passing Aleng the valley; I would simply crave That it would cease its moanin? while I'm crossing, Then vent its fui/ on my lowly grave.
