An old farm house with meadows wide, And sw«!Bt with clover on oach side ; A bright-eyed boy vho looks from out Tho door with woodbine wreathnd about, And wishes his one thought a'l, day: 'Oh ! if I could but fly away From hs du'. spot tho world to see, How happy, happy, happy, How happy I would be !' Amid the city's constant din, A man who round tho world has baen Is thinking, thinking, all daylong, ' Oh 1 if I could only trace onco more The field-path to the farm-house door, The old green meadows could I see. How happy, happy, happy, How happy I would be !'
