(Before His Honor Judge Fenton.) UNDEFENDED CAUSES. Howard v. Young, claim £24, promissory note. There being no appearance on either Bide, the case was struck out. Vulgar v. Grubb, claim £79 Is Id, judgment summons. This case was also struck out, under the same circumstances aa the last. Lockhart v. Leech, claim £50 10a., balance of promissory note. On the application of Mr Kissling, this case was adjourned until next court-day ; leave being given to defendant to file his defence. H. B. Morton v. Thomas Ingles, claim £71 Us. 9d., balance of account, judgment confessed. MTSIKLEJOHN V. BUCHANAN. Claim £37 165., promissory note. Mr McOormick appeared for the plaintiff, a settler of Matakana, who stated that he had applied for the money, but failed in obtaining it. Judgment for plaintiff, costs £8. DELIAS V. HOLMES BROS. Claim £100, damages. Mr Richmond for plaintiff, and Mr Rees "or the defence.
