PRESERVATION TO ME LLOYD.

We are glad to learn that the employees of the Auckland Onehunga and Mercer branches of our railway department, have presented their late traffic manager, Mr W. M. Lloyd, with a testimonial accompanied with a purse of sovereigns, expressive of their appreciation of the impartial manner in which he discharged his duties during his connection with the department. The testimonial is a very handseme one and reflects much credit, not only upon MrE. B. Dickson who executed it but as indicative of the friendly feeling Which existed between the receiver and the different officials who were associated with Mr Lloyd previous to his retirement from the public service.
