Supposed Drowning at Cox's Creek.
Mr. George Levitt, of Cox's Creek, left his home at nine o'clock on the morning of the 12fch instant, with the intention of taking a pull in a small dingy. He was afterwards seen in the dingy a distance from the shore, but did not return when expected, and fears for his safety having been created by his continued absence, a search was made but no tidings have been gained. It is feared the dingy has capsized and the unfortunate man been drowned. His age was 30 years, and he leaves a wife and one child. He arrived in the colony only some five months ago. He only had a pair of trousers and flannel shirt on when he left.
