Meet of the Pakuranga Hounds.

The Pakuranga Hunt Club met at Mr. S. Moirin's residence, Remuera, at two o'clock to-day. After luncheon had been partaken of at Mr Morrin's house, the party assembled at Mr R. Graham's. There are over fifty vehicles and 400 visitors waiting for the start. The meet thus presents a lively scene, reminding one of old times. Calvert has just falhn with Doctor, one of James Clarke's hoists, while jumping a wall. Calvert rmnowjy escaped. The horse is apparently dove for, as be will not rise. He was a very valuable animal and was entered for the nexc steeplechase.
