A correspondent of the Waikato Times writes : — At Kangiaohia, on Sunday morning, two Maori dogs made a forage amongst Captain Bockett's sheep, killing no fewer than 30, and frightfully mutilating many more of his very valuable flock. Tbe dogs being detected were followed to their destina'ion, near Te Awamutu, where Captain Bockett deliberately shot the two animals, for which he. received the thanks of the settlers.
