(j)Tom our own correspondent;.) This day. Crushings. The Queen of Beauty's melted gold weighed 7060z5. lOdwts. The Red Queen has 62ozs. Gdwts. The Caledonian started crushing a series of trial lots, but none from the Cure reef. The Black Angel tribute have crushed 30 tons, and retort this evening. About 50ozs is the result. The Golden Calf is now retorting, and will have a handsome return. Crushing is temporarily suspended pending the completion of the cross-cut to ventilate the mine.
