Crushing Returns.
The Bright Smile retorted to-day from ten and a-half days' crushing, and have 504 ozs. 10 dwts. melted gold. The Kuranui tribute crushed 70 tons, for 133 ozs. melted gold. The Point Russell tribute crushed 18 tons for 29 ozs. 12 dwts. 12 grs. The Bright Smile repairs to the steam pipe were completed this afternoon, and pumping resumed. The Queen of Beauty retorting will have 700 ozs. The Golden Calf will not retort till Monday. g a l eg _Tairua, 50s. ; Britannia, 3a, 3d. to 3s. 4d.
