Accident in Fort-street.
This afternoon, a little before two o^clock, one of Mr Craig's drays had just delivered its load in Commercial-street, wheath'enoree took fright and bolted up the street atjfnll gallop. Arrived at the corner of Fort?B,treet, he went to turn sharp to the ■ right towards Queen-street, when the off wheel caught,the "kerb violently, aad the dray and hoise;turned completely over. The carman andseveraimen who had witnessed the accident soon came to the rescue. One secured and sat upon the animal's head, and the others busied-them-selves undoing the harness, while at the some time they carefully dodged the lunges Tvhich the horse kept making with his legs. The harness beiDg loosened, the cart was tilted over, and the horse sprang to hiafeet unharmed, but very much frightened. He was re-harnessed to the dray and went off quietly. It was fortunate no one was in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
