THE MAIL VIA SAN FRANCISCO.
The Australian mail via San Francisco haß been delivered in London. THE AURORA. London, August 25. The passengers and crew of the .Aurora, bound from Adelaide to London, which took fire at sea, and was abandoned, have arrived at Liverpool.
LONDON, via Singapore, August 25. England, France, Italy, Kussia, Germany, and Austria have collectively made to the Porte the proposals telegraphed, yesterday, counselling moderation on his part, and asking for facilities to enable the foreign consuls to urge upon the insurgents of Herzegovina and Bosnia the advantages of submission to the Turkish Government. The Porte is concentrating a large force near Missa in consequence of the attitude of Servia. One hundred thousand Servian militia have been called out. LONDON (via Sing-pore), August 24. The Porte has accepted tbe proposal of Russia, Austria, and Germany to send the foreign Consuls to advise the insurgents of Bosnia and Herzegovina to lay down their arms and submit their case to Servia. The Pacha has appointed a special Imperial Commissioner.
