MR. AND MRS. CASE.
Auckland, though situated in a land apparently isolated from the world in general, is never left without amusements of some kind or another ; and now, on the departure of the Darrells, and their associates of the drama, we shall ha ye the pleasure of witnessing scenes and characters, termed " Odds and Ends," by Grace Egerton and her talented husband, or more appropriately speaking, Mr and Mrs Case. There may be persons in this city who remember the extraordinary impersonations of this lady, and who will, therefore, the more readily take the new opportunity of seeing the wondrous transformations of a lady whose fame, according to the little brochure before us, has been sounded in all lands where the white man treads. We referred in our last issue to the performances and fame of these interesting travellers, and to-night we shall have the privilege of seeing their faces and listening to the latest intelligence of the musical and dramatic world. If report speaks faithfully, the sketches of odd people will be most amusißg ; hence we await the rising of the curtain at the theatre this evening at the appointed hour.
