FRUIT SALES. Mr L W. Eaton sold to-dayj at his mart, a large number of cases of assorted apples, ex Chanticleer, from Hob.rton, at prices varying from-2£d to-:3Jd: pears, lid to If d ; oranges, per case, 13s 6d; almonds, 6d; figs. sh& to 6d; dates, 3Jci; onions l^d Mr E. Arthur held a large sale of fruit to-day, consisting chiefly of apples and pears, which realised fair prices; also, 97 cases of jams and marmalade, of Wilson's and Holroyd's manufacture. Wilson's iams sold at 7s 2d to 7s 3d, orange marmalade Ha to 8s 6d: and Holroyd's jams (assorted) at 7s. Mr. Geo W. Binney disposed of a large number of cases of apples of various kinds, which brought fair prices The sales were well attended.
