The HOLIDAYS fixed by tlio Board for Schools ia the City of Auckland and Suburb 3 are to begin on FRIDAY, the ISth December, and end on MONDAY, the 19th January, 1575. School Committees and Commissioners are reminded that the Flection of Committees for 1875 must take plkco on some day in January, and that the 17th clause of the Act requires the School Committee to fix the time and place, which must ba notified by advertitement at 10-ist 14 days previously in some Newspaper circulating in the District. The Bowl therefore request tint the place, date, and hour fixed by the Commitcee may bs i-eut to the Secretary as soon as possible, in order that the Bjard may advertise the meeting in accordance with the Act.
