Prisoner pleaded gailfcy to both chaiges, Mr Broham said that the prisoner's conduct was very bad, he was lying on thewhatf in a disreputable state ; and when the constable remonstrated with him, he made a swage attack upon him, and tore away a coasiderable quantity of his beard. The bench fined prisoner 10a for being drunk, and 20a for the assault, or seven days imprisonirent with hard labour. COMMENCING BUSINESS. Henry Devoy was brought up on two charges of felony for stealing a horse value £2, on the 21st of November, the property of George Cook ; also, two cowp, value £25, on the 27th inst , the property of Robert George. Prisoner made no reply to the charge, and in accordance with the request of Mr. Inspector Broham the case was remanded for* week. BOOTS ! BOOTS ! . James Wilson was charged with stealing a pair of new boots on the 30th ultimo, value 10s. 6d., the property of Samuel Morton Green. Prisoner pleaded guilty.
