a • J This day. Arrived, on Saturday, the schooner Julius Vogel from Mercury Bay ; Southern Cross, at 7 30 p.m., from Auckland.
Arrived, on Sunday, Albatross, schooner, from Mercury Bay ; Ntar of the South, at 11 a.m., from Wellington. Sailed this day—Start, cutter, for Mercury Bay ; Star of the South, at 1 p.m , for Auckland. Passengers : Messrs Hansen, Godsend Mann, and Holdship. The hay and potato crops are coming out very light. High prices are expected. The calendar for the ensuing session is very light. There are only three criminal and three civil cases.
