At Mr. R. Arthur's sale to-day fowls sold at Is. lid. to 2s. lid.; . brahmas, 3s. 2d.; ducks, Is. 7d. to Is. 9d.; geese, 3s. to 3. 6d.; turkeys (small), 2s. 6d. Potatoes, 2d.; salt butter, B£d. to 9£d.; Wairoa cheese (new), 6Jd. to 7d.; oranges, Bs. 7d. to 9s. 6d. per case ; lemons, ss. to 65.; plums, 2s. 2d. to 3s.
At Mr. George Sibbin's, Corner Mart, today the following prices were obtained:— Butter, 10£ d. and lid. ; cheese, 7d. ; maize, 6s. 6d. to 6s. 9d.; oats, 6s. to 6s. 3d.; flour, 15s. ; bran, Is. 7d. ; tea, 2s. lb., or 325. 6d. per box ; kerosene, 2s. 3d. to 2s. 6d. j bacon, 9d.; hams, Is.; soap, 20s. 6d.; candles, ll|d.; sugar, 4|d. The clothing fetched good prices.
