COROMANDEL.
(From our own Correspondent.) This day. At the Warden's Coutt, to-day, the case of W. McClaughen v. A. Crumer was heard. The plaintiff sought an order to declare a piece of land, late the New Rakaia forfeit, an order to occupy the ground. Also the case, Jame3 McUormick v. John MeGee, in charge of trespass on a claim adjoining the Union Beach, known of late as the Last Resort. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs.
Charles Kelvington Cornforth was fined this day £20 each in two cases of selling grog without a license at Whangapoua, cost £3 15s. Sergeant Egan brought the cases. The defendant pleaded guilty. The Emily is crushing, having started yesterday.
