WOOL SALES
} Messrs E;'unter and Nolan held their first i wool sale of the season at noon to-day. There j was a good attendance of buyers, and all i the lots offered, about fifty in number, were sold The prices for longwool, in grease, ' were 9d, 9^d, 9gd, 10£ d, and 10£ d; ! longwool, washed, Is lfd, Is 2d, Is 2£d, Is 3d and Is 3f d. Half-bred wool, in grease, j gj^ 9.^ ]s 2£d. Meriao wool, in grease, | BJd, 9d. Locks, 6£d. The buyers were i Messrs Ireland Brothers, Gilford, Sutheri laud, Fetter, and J. Osbore and Co. Mr Alfred Buckland's second wool sale of the season commenced at two o'clock to-day, i and was proceeding when we went to press. i The bidding is being sustained with spirit, I and the following prices have ruled to the ! time our reporter jefr, :—Longwoo', in grease, j 9|d„ 101 , 10fd., and lljd. ; half-bred, B£d., 9|d., 9gd., and 10^d. ; mixed, 9d. ,
