MEETING OF MR J. C. MORRIN'S CREDITORS.
1 meeting of creditors in the estate of J. C. Morrin was held to day High-street. There was a large attend£of creditors, nearly 40 being present or resented. Mr H. Isaacs was voted to i chair. A discussion took place at the amencement as to whether the Press mid be allowed to be present or not. On iquestion being put to the meeting it was cd"That the Press be requested not to orfc the meeting." This was tantamount declaring the meeting a private one. We y, however, state generally that the Kluies are about £22,000, and tbe Union nit, which is a large creditor, holds miderable securities over the estate. ltt considerable discussion it was olved that the estate should be igued for tbe benefit of all creditors, and »rs E Isaacs, B. Tonks, and T- Morrin ie appointed trustees, who will examine affairs in the estate and report to another sting on Friday next
