VICE-REGAL MOVEMENTS.
His Excellency the Marquis of Normanby may be expected to arrive in Auckland by the b.s. Hero, on Monday next. His stay here will be very brief, extending only till the Thursday following, when he will proceed to Wellington in the Luna. The reception ceremonies will be of a very simple character, consisting, we believe, of presentation of addresses by his Honor the Superintendent', the Mayor, and the chairman of the, Harbour Board. We suppose there will be a parade, of thel Volunteers on the occasion, and a salute. During the three days that his Excellency is to remain in Auckland he will be sworn in, and will probably hold a levee. He will also be entertained at a citizens' ball.
