THE AMERICAN CIRCUS.
The great American Circus will open'this evening ia the IMarket Reserve, and will include some of the first equestrians in the world. This famous company has recentlycompleted a most successful tour through Australia and New .South Wales. This entertainment is very varied, in order to meet, every taste.. There will be equilibrists, clowns, jesters, vaulters, and tumblers. We observe on the programme of the evening the names of George Gilham, the champion
bareback rider of the world; J. L^g th American star; Arthur Turner, the *™2i "' known acrobat; T. Bird, the great contn tionist ; F.,^mour, the humourous cW and jester jSB Hatchins, the wonder*? gymnast _; and Goiizales and Salvario emm«nt in their feats of horsemanship Master Komeo, the somersault equestrian ■will also appear. Among the lady artwteg' we notice Mddle Yeomana and Miss K a +l Wallace; also, Mddle Gracie, the lady with the iron teeth, ;who ■ attract«ia»J:touch attention in Chiarini's Royal Italian-circus in the marketplace. The great! attraction of this * evening, especially for yosth, will be " Diet Turpin's ride to York, on Donnie BilacV* Bess." An efficient brass ban3'irill be attendance.
