ARRIVAL OF THE ALBION WITH THE SUEZ MAIL.
SINGULAR OCCURRENCE AT SEA.

BLUFF,
This day. The Albion with the English Mail via Suez left Melbourne at 2.30 p m. on the 16th When off Solanders, at 10.30 p.m. on the 20th saw a bright light burning, and stood in and sent a boat away which was unable to find 'the light. Whilst waiting a number of lights were exhibited at different elevations. Th->, boat returned at midnight The steamer waited till daylight, and sent a boat off again, but could not find anyone. The vessel then left at 5 a.m., and arrived at Bluff at 10.30 a.m. on 21st. Passengers —45 saloon and 50 steerage, and 370 tons, 274 bags mail, 21 horses and 3 sheep for all ports. She sails for Dunedin at 5 p.m.
