CAPTURE OF A ROMAN CATHOLIC DIGNITARY BY BRIGANDS.
Rome, October 7. —Monseigneur Theodole, a dignitary of high rank connected with the Vatican, has been captured near Forsenone by brigands, who demanded a ransom of 30,000 dollars.
Rome, October S. —Monseigneur Testioli has been released by tho brigands who had captured him, upon the payment of a ransom of 10,000 dollars.
