The N.Z.S.S. Company's s.s. Wellington, M. Carey, Esq., commander, arrived in the Manukau at 7 a.m. today. She lett .fort Chalmers at 4.15 p.m. on the 13th inst. ; arrived at Lyttelton at noon on the 14th ; left at 11 a m. on the 15th ; reached Wellington at 8 a.m. on the 16th; left at 2.30 p.m. on the 17th ; made Picton at 8 p.m. the same evening ; started again at 1 a.m. on the 18th; entered Nelson harbour at noon, and left on the same tide at 4.p.m ; arrived oft Taranaki at 8.30 a.m. on the 19bh ; discharged a large cargo, and took in a deck-load of Bheep; headed for Manukau at 3.15 p.m. ; crossed the bar at 5 30 a.m., and made fast alongside the Onehunga wharf at the hour above-mentioned. She experienced variable winds and fine weather , throughout the voyage. We are indebted to Mr. W. J. Wilcox, purser, for the report and files. Passengers : Mr and Mrs Dorn, Miss Gwynneth, Colonel Lyon, Messrs. Hawkins, Humphries, and Gilmour. Steerage: Mr and Mrs Gifield, Messrs. Williams, Jones, Jenkins, Sullivan, Taylor, and Findlay (two.) the barque Ferndale cleared out to-day for London with a large general cargo. Captain Wigzell states his intention of sailing on Monday. One passenger has booked at present Mr Samuel Herapath. The cutter Nancy from Waikawau bnng3 17 723 ft timber. , The barque Stanley Castle has not been long discharging her cargo at the hands of Captain Elliott. She is to begin taking in gum for New York at once, for which she is chartered- by Messrs Arnold Hines & Co. Messrs Rolph Sterry and Co., will supply part of her load. The barquentine Falcon, bound for Dunedin, weighed anchor yesterday evening and beat out of the harbour against a northerly wind. A good many were taking stock of her points before she disappeared behind the Heads. So far as we could judge, she seemed, to lie up well and get through the water pretty fast. The brig Pakeha was still lying at the North Head this morning. The brigantine Coronet is to sail for the islands to-morrow. She takes a heavy and valuable cargo. The s.s. Go-Ahead, Captain McGillivray, arrived at.Onehunga last evening at 6 p.m. She left Greymouth at midnight on the 14th, and arrived at Wanganui at 2 p.m. on the 17th ; left again at 4 a m. on the 18th, and arrived at New Plymouth at 7 p.m., and left at 8 p.m , arriving as above. Experienced light variable winds to New Plymouth, from, thence fresh head winds with moderate weather throughout. The barque B^lla Mary airived at Hobar,t Town on the 27 th October, after a tempestuous passage of 24 days.
