Sailed last night: Vincent, for Auckland. There are a number of candidates in the field for the town and country highway boards. Colonial Bank shares will be taken up here.
A pnblic meeting will be held here for the formation of a fire brigade on Monday night. It is rumoured that the slander case, Burrows v. Morrison, is settled out of Court.
