The market this morning presented rather a dull appearance., Vegetables were scarce, but there was an abundant show of fruit. MrFentbn had a large supply of butter, ham-3 and bacon, and several tons of flour at prices as per market list.

'. ! 7777 At the Corner Mart, to-day, Mr George Sibbin sold a quantity of rice at 2£d;; cheese, (kl i flour, lis to l^s ; half-chests tea, 2s 2d ; white siagar, s^d ;a candles, olljd ; vestas, 21s to 22s 6<L; oats, 4s lOd; maize, 7s.
