Messrs. Tonka aad Co. held an extensive sale of tobaccos yesterday, at which biddings were far more animated than at late sales, but prices ruled low, though the auctioneers succeeded in placing some fair lineß. The following are the quotations : —Honeydew (10 s), 9fd to 13 2d ; twist, Is 4d : aromatic, 4's, 9d ; s's, lOd ; 6's, 9£d ; 12's (in twist), Is 4d". The same firm sold cobra at £9 10s per ton.
