Steerage: Messrs Dixon, wife, and seven children, MoGregor, wife, and two children, W. Walker, Thos. Rodgers, Thompson, Works, P. Inglis, A. McAllister, Weir, E. Jackman, P. O'Grady, T. Thorpe, M. The favorite passenger ship City of Auckland, under the command of Capt W. Ashby, arrived in London on the 10th instant. She sailed from Auckland on the 7th December, thus making the passage home in 93 days. The schooner Esther, on disch^rg^ of her cargo of wool, will leave again for Napier on Saturday next. : -. <~, • : Consignees of cargo by "the schooner Excelsior are requested to pay freight to the agent, Mr John Reid. ' The schooner Florence, which left Dunedin for this port on the 21st February, has not been heard of since she put into Wellington twq. days after for water. Fears are entertained for her safety. The s.s. Southern Cross arrived at Tauranga at one o'clock this morning. V ■: -.A London telegram, per Java cable, dated March 10, announces the arrival of the ship City of Auckland. The schooner Ruby has cleared outwards for Russell in ballast. The schooner Mary Ellen has reported at the Customs with|twenty-one thousand feet of timber.
