COROMANDEL.
[fsom otto owjst correspondent.] Some more fine specimens were taken out of Golden Pa leader last night. Nothing further will be done until mining manager has been appointed, when in all probability a shaft will be sunk from surface to follow the leader down.
Bismarck took out some splendid stone last night from bottom of winze. Other claims much the same as usual.
Great outcry everywhere as to the want of powder, which has much retarded the works in many parts. Severe comments among managers as to the want of enterprise on part of Auckland merchants, and their shortsightedness in not foreseeing the requirements of the district. Weather very fine ; light W.S.W. wind. New buildings springing up everywhere like mushrooms after a rainy day.
