POLICE COURT.—FRIDAY.

Deuxkenkess.—G-. Smith and P. Moene were fined 55., with costs, or to be imprisoned 24 hours ; W. JJeverley, for being drunk and disorderly, was fined 20s. and costs, or to be imprisoned 48 hours with hard labour.
Deseution. — George Waller was charged with desertion from H.M.S. Rosario, and remanded for a week.
Lahcbxy.—W. Willard was charged with larceny to the value of lls., and the case was remanded I ill Monday.
Maliciofs Injuey.—Patrick Lynch was charged, and pleaded guilty, to breaking a walking-stick, tho property of Alexander Bond. —Prosecutor deposed that the defendant entered his shop in Queen-street, took the stick from the stand, and broke it across his knee, saying he would call again.—Fined ss. and cjsts, with Is., value of the Btick ; in default, 48 hours' imprisonment.
