HALF-YEARLY MEETING.

The half-r early meeting of the New Zealand* Insurance Company was held at the new office at 2 o'clock to-day, when the following report was read aid adopted:— - - '- 7'". " After plying all claims, making due provision for madjusted losses, and adding £5 per share to the paid-up capital, the tiet profit for the hal-year amounts to £7,936 10s ;Tfii available fo; division. Out of this amount the directors have applied the Bum of £3,750 as a dividend of £1 10s per share for the halfyear, the bdauce of £4,186 10s Id will be carried forward to tho next half-year.
