ARRIVAL OF THE SAMSON.
The p.s. Samson, Captain Mundle, nrrivedin harbour this morning from "Wangarei, bringing one of the largest cargoes that has ever left that district. The Samson left Wangarei at 3.15 p.m. yesterday, and the Heads at 8 p.m. arriving at the wharf, after landing cattle at Kohitnarima at 7 a m- to-df y. Passengers :—Mrs. Wallu, Mrs. Anderson, and family,Messrs.Lee, Grauderson,Buchanan, Davidson, Harkiss, Davis, Taylor, Greig, G-awler, Stepheiu-on, Carpel t, McLeod, 3 natives. Cargo : —ls hoa.l cattle, 15 sheep, Buokland; 10 head cattle, Hunter and Co.; 198 :auks gum, order; 25 case 3 fruit, Arthur and Son; 15 sacks grass seed, 13 boxes sundries.
