CLEARANCE OF THE SANTON.
The fine Liverpool clipper Santor, Captain Moore, cleared at the Customs this morning, and will take her departure, to-morrow, for New York. The following gives the value and quantity of cargo on board : — ARTICLE. QUANTITY. WEIGHT. TAIIJE. The Go-Ahead arrived from Wangarei at 12 o'clock la3t night, with seven passengers, three head cattle, three tons gum, and a quantity of settlers' produce. Comebjug-.—The Lord Ashley reports the p.s. Comerang, Capt. Chrisp, having put into Tauranga, on Monday, at 2.30 p.m., through, stress of weather. The Comerang had experienced a hard easterly gale since leaving here, and had had her decks swept fore and aft by the heavy seas that broke on board. Tha s.s. Rangatira took her departure from the Manukau for Wanganui and Wellington, yesterday afternoon. Passengers—Mrs. Hayes and infant, Miss Wray, Messrs. Elliott, Owen, Grainger, and Robinson. The Circular Saw Company's s.p. T orel Ashley, Captain Andrew, arrived at the wharf yesterday afternoon from Tauranga, Napier, and Southern ports. She is the bearer of a large cargo, and brings the following passengers : Saloon —Capt. Neale, Mr. Moorhouse, Miss Laniont, Capt. Simpson, Messrs. Xeesing, Asher, Mrs. Cook, Miss Hays, Messrs. Macfarland, McAllister, Jeffries, Samuels, Birch, Carter, Soloman, Clarke, Capt. Carmichael.
