STTPEEME COUET.—Tuesday. The Court resumed its sittings to-day, at 10 a.m. We are obliged to hold over our report, owing to pressure on our columns. The Grand Jury made a presentment to Hiss Honor, to the effect that several cases had been brought before them which could hare beeu dealt with by the Mag'strates ; and another recommending that licenses should be issued to all places for crushing, smelting, and assaying gold, as a preventing to stealing. John Macnamara, for assaulting the police, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. The charge against Lee and Johnson for the watches' robbery at the Thames, was being tried as we went to press.
