In consequence of the unfavorable state of the weather the Dancing Wave, for the lijis, ha 3 been detained till to-morrow. , .
PncEßE.—The CIS. Company's s.s. Phcebe was to.leave the Manukau this afternoon for the South. The following are: a few of the passengers proceeding by her : —Mr. Kerr, M.G.A.; Mrs. Eerr, Mr. Manning, Messrs. Gillies (2), Graham, and Meyers. The s.s. Star of, the South left the harbour this morning for Napier, with a general cargo and a few passengers. The schooner Kate Grant arrived from Wangarei this morning with produce.
The p.s. Samson returned from Wangai'ei1 last night, bringing about a dozen passengers, j The fine barque Huasquina has already commenced to load for England, haying landed, her inward cargo in good condition. We are; informed that the greater .portion of her home-, ward cargo is awaiting shipment, and as the stowing of it is to be carried out under thesuperintendence of Mr. R. T. Ebborn, who has just finished the Ismay, we have no doubt she will meet with the same quick despatch.
