DANCE RECITAL AT AKAROA
On Friday evening the Oddfellows'
Hail, Akaroa, was we'l filled when
Iliss Phyllis Smith's pupils gave a dance recital in aid of Red Cross
Funds. The items were much appreciated by the audience, the ehildrens' costumes being very well thought out. Miss Smith is to be congratulated up-
on the excellence of the dancing and
upon the speed with which the items
were produced,
During the interval, the Mayor, Mr F. R. E. Davis, thanked Miss Smith for her assistance to local Red Cross
Funds
