CANADA REQUIRES ALL WAR CHARITIES TO BE REGISTERED
Without a siugle question asked, the House of Commons, September 12', put through all stages a War Charities Act under which it will be required that all charities organised for war purposes must be registered with the Federal Government. Justice Minister Ernest Lapointe sponsored the bill which he said was patterned after a similar measure adopted in 1917.
