Mrs L. S. Woodward and children (Christchurch) arc the guests of' Mrs W. J. Thompson, "The Gables,' Akaroa. Messrs W. W. Dymond and C Elam (Christchurch) visited Akaros during the week-end and were stayin gat the Bruce Hotel. Mi'sP. Munn and Miss Pearl Martii: (St. Albans, Christchurch), are holidaying in Akaroa and are staying at the Madeira Hotel. Mr and Mrs G. A. E. Le Lievre (Akaroa) are on holiday and are visiting Timaru. Albans), who died in Christchurch yesterday will be remembered at Akaroa as MioS Crawford. She was Matron of the old Akaroa Hospital and first Matron at the present Hospital. She has many friends at Akaroa and paid a visit here last year.
